C, gutters are typically made of Aluminum, so mold shouldn’t be an issue. Termites though, no idea… but again, aluminum.
To the Inventor: LOVE IT! I have loads of gutter sections that I didn’t know what to do with… huzzah!

My mother is getting to old to bend and wed or harvest. This is an excellent idea for her.
Don’t think she’d appreciate taking down her gutters though, lol!

What an awesome idea — I have lots of pieces of left over gutters — think I may attach them to the outside of my deck rail and since the deck sits off the kitchen and gets lots of sun, it would be perfect for herbs and lettuce! AND the bunnies won’t be able to get to it! Thanks! I have a new spring time project to look forward to! Boo-Yah!

great idea ….. if your siding can support the weight.

You could put up some posts off away from the house, and nail the gutters onto the posts to keep pests and varmints away from your house.

If you cant put posts into the ground, you could get two or more 5 gallon buckets, center the posts in them and pour dirt or even cement them into the buckets. Then make the way the gutters attach detachable and so when storing away, the gutters come off, and the the posts can be moved closer together (if cemented in) or taken completely out of the buckets…
