“21 pictures of woman’s life”.
I made this cycle in 2007 – 2008, these 21 works arranges in a story of a woman. Successive works put together in 21-pieces picture, 15 meters long. The works are made of compacted electronical equipment, pieces of computer’s and printer’s casings and rust-eaten metal sheet – steel, copper, brass and aluminum. Another amazing work by Marek Tomasik !
Women instruct the atmosphere in pressure, (50cm x 50cm)
they catch the stars, (50 cm x 70 cm)
they put them together (70 cm x 70 cm)
and make rings with black hole of them. (70 cm x 100 cm)
They go away although everything is ok, (100 cm x 100 cm)
they think, (100 cm x 150 cm)
they brew the tea, (100 cm x 100 cm)
they revive mechanisms by touch, (70 cm x 100 cm)
they cook some soup, (70 cm x 70 cm)
in dishes of empty . (50 cm x 70 cm)
They make up their lips, (50cm x 50cm)
they feed electric birds, (50 cm x 70 cm)
they tame the time. (70 cm x 70 cm)
Calculated at an incalculability, (70 cm x 100 cm)
they cut space for the small pieces, (100 cm x 100 cm)
they arrange it in a different way, (100 cm x 150 cm)
and again in a different way, (100 cm x 100 cm)
they coat it with the light (70 cm x 100 cm)
and they eat it. (70 cm x 70 cm)
They go sunbathing (50 cm x 70 cm)
