Pretty sure I saw igloos (lit from the inside too) made from Milk Jugs ……. years ago! Not a new idea but big on cute factor for kids is this sample.

How do you hold them together?

We did this in my Kindergarten classroom. We cut the tops off the jugs and then stapled them together on the sides of the jugs. Not as colorful, but we even had a top and all the sides so the children could crawl into it and read.
