Metamorphosis of a Jacket

This fashion accessory was an old jacket bought from a charity shop in London. I have unpicked all the parts of it, even the zipper, buttons, pockets and inside fabric, then recreated it as a multi-use fashion piece which can be worn on shoulders, head or waist. It can be sewn on another dress as well. The desing was inspired by the metamorphosis process of a dragonfly. Mostly hand-sewn but some machine-sewing is used for attaching. No other fabric added. Check out the facebook link below for design development process and more fashion pictures!
