Old ideas never die… my husband (then boyfriend) did this 15 years ago. The difference was that it wasn’t done just because he could – it was for a computer that he intended to use regularly :)
Isn’t there a risk for the cardboard to go on fire ?
The temperature inside the box can go to 60/70°C…
60-70C is no where near the temperature that cardboard starts burning, you’d need hundreds of degrees for that.
I’ve been meaning to build one out of wood. I just have to find the right kind of wood at the beach first :)
