Cat house made from Habitat REstore

A stray cat took up residence at the house, but had to stay outside as he didn’t get along with the cats we have, so he needed a place to get out of the weather. After pricing pet houses (upwards of $100!!!), I decided that I would try to make one. This cat/pet house is made from 2 kitchen cabinet drawers and 5 doors (at the cost of $1 each) from the Habitat REstore and one piece of scrap plywood. I am in the processes of putting scrap shingles and scrap Tyvek on the outside, followed by scrap siding. The cat is still with us and seems pretty happy with his crib. :)
