“Prince des Sots”: new work from Mykl Wells

New cardboard sculpture from Mykl Wells. Departing from the usual raw cardboard look of my sculptures I am beginning to exploit the colorful printing and barrage of marketing and advertising found on boxes. To me it has a sort of deconstructed futurist feel about it. This piece is made of cardboard, glue, staples and polyurethane. About the size of a giant tortoise. This piece will premier at the Tucson Sculpture Festival this weekend February first, twenty-fourteen.
