American Flags Made from Salvaged Wood

These flags were inspired by a huge stack of wooden lathe, left over during the renovation of an old home in Nashville, TN. Lathe are the wood slats that form the under structure that traditional walls are applied to. Usually this material is removed from and old home and heads straight to the landfill.

Each flag is true to the U.S. Flag Code (yes there is a flag law), and hand painted with dry brush and loose stencil.
