A piece of insulation block 4ft square 2ft thick was just lying around waiting for inspiration and a new use. With some fettling from a heated cutter bought of ebay, and some waste limestone and cement, a rock sign was created for a friends new business.
Still light enough for two men to lift, the sign was created over a few days, then a mixture of limestone dust, cement and natural pigments was used to create the message. With a few pieces of polystyrene still littering the garden, some rockery pieces are being considered. Meanwhile Takoda's new stone sign takes pride of place just inside the gateway of the Cumbrian camp site.
