« Ni Dieu, Ni Maître » – « No Gods, No Masters »

« No Gods, no masters » is an anarchist slogan derived from « Ni Dieu, ni maître ». The french translation of master “maître” is the homonym of meter “mètre”. Where from this composition stemming from an old metallic meter. It’s a pun between master/meter and God represented by the cross. The meter was brushed, sawed and fixed with a rivet so as to obtain a cross. A small metal plate was engraved with the slogan. Both elements are connected by piece of chain come from a dog chain. All materials are recycled.
