Mike Dyson, the 3m High Robot Sculpture from Recycled Vacuum Cleaners

Project Mike Dyson. Sometimes I start with a name. That was the case with Mike. Dyson vacuum cleaners lend themselves well to building robots. They already have that spacey look about them.

Sourcing broken ones is easy. Then it’s a case of imagination and a bit of engineering to put together a 3m high structure that resembles a robot boxer. The challenge is rewarding when the project finally comes together. Turning discarded items into striking robots is my mission.
