I turned my old kid carrier for my bike into a cargo bike cart. I used recycled pallet wood and upgraded to bigger tires from an old BMX bike. I used a stain on it too, that I found someone throwing out.

Would be nice with a how-to. Specifically, how do you mount bike wheels from the side?

I’ve replied to you by email, unfortunately we don’t have any explanations on how to mount bike wheels from the side but considering it was an old kids carrier repurposed into a bike “cargo” carrier, I think the wheels were already side-mounted…

Hi Quentin! Yeah, I suspected that was the solution. But it is a lot easier to salvage bike wheels than cart frames, so I hope somebody knows of a smart way to convert bike wheels to be fitted on a kart?
