Graphic designer Marta Altes creates creative artworks from reused pencil shavings. Marta Altes was initially trained in Barcelona before moving to England to pursue her MA in Children’s Book Illustration from the Cambridge School of Art. Her playful, simple pieces burst with child-like creativity, turning pencil shavings into various artworks (lion’s mane, a cape for a bullfighter, flower petals or a wave for a surfer… and more!).
