In the nearby flea market, I bought a bunch of crocheted pot holders (very cheap, no one seems to use them anymore). I put them together by crocheting them into long rows, with cotton yarn, and then crocheting the rows to a square blanket. So I ended up with a beautiful, colorful, crocheted blanket without having to crochet so much.
