Repurpose a Headboard Into a Reminder Board – Quick & Easy DIY

This was a headboard for a single size bed, but I knew in an instant this could be a great material to repurpose so I got it. You can hunt for old headboards in thrift shops or garage sales or maybe you have one in your storage or basement.

This could be very well your quickest DIY. Are you ready for this? You’ll be finished by the time the kettle whistles.

Just gather up these materials:

  • Headboard
  • Chalk paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Hooks
  • String or wire
  • Reusable kneadable adhesive

When you are done with this project, use a kneadable and reusable adhesive to post reminders and notes. These come in different brands, but they all work the same. You can make it a cork board, too if you prefer that. Just attach a cork sheet on the center board with a double adhesive tape all around and you are set to be reminded of your schedule, to-do lists, and deadlines.
