Diy: Corrugated Board Pen

I made this pen as a way of finding new and interesting ways to use our scrap corrugated board. It uses roughly 12 inches of double walled cardboard and 4-5 ounces of epoxy.

The board is placed in a mold which is then filled with epoxy. A vacuum chamber was used to remove as many of the air bubbles as I could.

From there, the best method to turn the blanks is by first cutting them into octagons and then drilling and inserting your pen barrels. If you do not follow this step, your blanks WILL break. Then, simply turn like any other pen.
