Fabio Zanino is an italian artist that creates assemblage pieces by deconstructing aged neon/road signs & advertising boards. The resulting abstract forms of reassembled warning and prohibited signage becomes a new aesthetic of street abstraction. Some of his work looks like it has been produced by a savage post-apocalyptic crew.
In DECOSTRUZIONE XXXIII • NEON, starting from the Shell sign cutted in pieces, he assembled it in a new abstract arabic-looking piece. Obviously with protest intention. The final piece is 250×100 cm using 95% recycled materials.
