This simple yet elegant design uses a single stave from a French or American oak wine barrel to create this Wine Barrel Stave LED Sconce. The years of a full-bodied Cabernet wine in the barrel lends a rich character to the stave and gives an elegant design element to your wall decor.
We make them with either a 12-volt wall transformer or a battery pack. 36 super bright LEDs deliver a soft glow to the back of the wall. We look for quality in the things we surround ourselves with. Nearly 200,000 wine barrels are retired each year in California alone. Although some end up as planters or firewood, many are destined for landfills. We rescue wine barrels from wineries that simply don’t have the space to keep them any longer. We then give them new life as a functional work of art that is also beautiful! Each barrel stave will be exactly the same; each sconce is unique as well! It’s a wonderful way to display the barrel stave and appreciate its history.
Customize the backlit color of the sconce. A full spectrum of hues allows you to switch colors automatically between individual colors or several modes. A strobe function changes colors rapidly for parties and festive events. Add a function that can fade in and out of various colors, and you no longer have a sconce – you have an experience. Other modes include Flash, Fade, Smooth.
