When you stop thinking of a Christmas tree as a holiday decoration and instead see it as a reusable material waiting to be reworked, beautiful things can happen.
I’m determined to creatively approach what others view as waste, so I challenged myself to upcycle my Christmas tree this year.
This beautiful table runner is comprised of the branches of my Christmas tree! I stripped the branches of their needles, washed them, and wove them together with hemp twine – and strung some decorative beads as well for extra oomph.
