Upcycled Origami Paper From Old Maps

Here’s a simple upcycling project that anyone can tackle. Check your local thrift store for old maps or atlases. Then carefully cut them into squares of any size, and presto! You have Upcycled Origami Paper that is unique and beautiful!

Use outdated old maps or other non-traditional papers to make this Upcycled Origami Paper!

I use a guillotine-style paper cutter for straight edges, and I prefer sizes around 6 inches square. You aren’t just limited to maps either… Try this project with wrapping paper, magazines, old books, or any other interesting paper stock. The only limit is your imagination.
