Artist & Crafter, I use packaging and junk mail that is normally discarded or re-cycled and create a new life form in the world of art.

My start came from making a poster of a tree for an elementary school ecology class. The tree was made from recycled items and cardboard. That small project planted a seed that got me started on to something bigger. Since then, I've developed the art of making portraits by using discarded product packaging materials similar to a mosaic.

The vivid advertising of what you see on a box of cereal or TV dinners help to create contemporary up-cycled art with an emphasis on shape, color and texture.

Packaging from cereal boxes, cookies, soda pop, and junk mail are cut, positioned and re-assembled into a BLENDEDimage.
