Is Sharpie sturdy enough to last through getting wet on a daily to hourly basis? Is there a better marker to use?

We at the Fixers Collective encourage people to use natural cork. We want the synthetic cork so we can use the material for our fixes! They make great shim material!

I use corks by writing the date and names of special people who come over to the house and visit. What type pen do you use? It may be your handwriting but I use a Sharpie and it doesn’t look as good as yours.

This cork used as an herb marker is actually from my blog, Shine Your Light. I also use corks as fire starters and to make trays and trivets.
