FlowerTimer is a simple yet very effective Arduino project. Simple paper flowers (some versions are origami) are converted into modern hourglasses using colours instead of sand, thanks to an easy circuit and customizable programming. The support is made with recycled boxes (business cards, tobacco, …) and they are powered by old cell phone power supply. The web page describe how they’re made and let you ask for yours.
