Here is a really positive project to start with : Thomas Dambo is a danish artist/musician with a master in design, who works to create art and useful things of old thrown away materials.  His last project was made in Puerto Rico, where he made this huge wood sculpture with wood from the local landfill. This giant reclaimed wood sculpture called Hector Protector is  a great initiative to raise awareness of the beauty of the landscape and the interest of recycling on the islands.

What is more, Thomas does it with a lot of humor with this video where he demonstrated a good flow : “It’s free in the dumpster, recycle culture !”
