Today I want to show you my awl because I think it’s an interesting little thing, and it can inspire someone to make something like this. I made it from scratch I found around my workshop.
There were:
- a concrete mounting bolt-thing,
- plexiglass pieces,
- some copper sheet,
- a nut,
- and a couple of washers.
It’s a little bit heavy, and the back of the handle is not rounded, but still it’s a nice comfortable tool I use a lot. Maybe I’ll make another one someday and show the whole process. There’s always something you can make from scratch.
