Recycled Saw Blade Rack

I was looking for some way to display jewelry cabochons and found this old saw blade rack at a hardware store that was closing and selling all it’s fixtures. It had rods going across and slotting into the side channels. The circular saw blades were suspended on the rods. We cleaned it up and spray painted it black, then cut a board out of thin plywood. We drilled small holes in the board, covered the board with padding and black velvet, then screwed in cup hooks that had been bent to hold the cabs in the right position. I had a sign made and it slid right into the channel in the top piece. This display works  great, it’s lightweight and can be broken down flat by removing 8 screws.
