I usually avoid waste and when it comes to throw away old magazines, I select a few pictures that seem interesting to re-use and make bookmarks with them. I draw on the picture so it’s a way to create something personal and then protect the result by laminating it. Then, it’s nice to add a ribbon or a string in order to have something taller than the size of the book, so you are able to catch it and find your page.
