This lamp is made out of drinking straws. The main idea was to bring the light through the straws instead of liquid. This lamp was also exhibited in the international Lighting guerrilla festival !

Assemble alot of straws need more patience, and quiate hard working to finish this lamps, congratulation and we are care to plastic together

I was considering doing a similar piece, and donating it to a museum, keeping it or selling it. What were the finer points of making it, such as the type of adhesive used. Any help?
Did you use white or clear straws? Where did you get the straws?

Well for the adhesive, I was using the one in spray. What matters the most is how you put the straws in the order (If you want to make it in circle)- it can happen that it will go into the cone shape. That’s why I made it in two parts which were at the end put together…

I used white straws and I got it from the bar where I was working.
