    Have seen similar to this done before, makes a lovely ring. Just wondering how you can be sure that the cylinder is empty before cutting, would hate to have an explosion! thanks

    Michelle, common technique involves filling the tank with water several times before cutting. This way gas gets pushed out, since water is way heavier.
    Haven’t tried this in person though, so take care.
