WOW -interesting to know this. What’s the next coin that no one bends over to pick up anymore? Sad but true… I’m surprised we still have pennies here in the U.S. – HS.

I still pick them up.hoping for an old one.my grandkids love see them and pick them old.my used to take my kids to the train tracks and lay coins on the tracks so they would get flattened. They loved it and great memories ❤???

This is cool. From a quick Google, I gather it is not illegal if it isn’t done for fraudulent purposes. Same for squished penny machines.

Ball-peen hammer held over a convex anvil… hit with a 5lb dead-weight hammer. Copper is great to work with!
