This is a great way to repurpose that scrap corrugated cardboard and make a useful, beautiful piece of furniture too! The sides and center panel are several laminated layers of cardboard which are then papier mached to have a better aesthetic and be smoother. The panels are then put together using heavy cardboard tubes from paper spools or carpet. The seat was built using glued in widths of corrugated, which was covered with more flat fiberboard. Finally, the padding is surplus foam cylinders cut in half lengthwise and covered in scrap drapery fabric. The gears are simply craft foam cutout, but could be anything your heart desired!
