Diy: Magazine Christmas Tree Do-It-Yourself Ideas Recycling Paper & Books

The size of your tree will depend on the thickness and size of your magazine.

STEP 1: Open the cover then take the first page and fold it over like this:

STEP 2: then just fold it over again like this:

STEP 3: Then just fold the bottom bit up:

STEP 4: Then turn the page and start all over again.  You have to do this for every page of the magazine, and then at the end get your mum or dad to rip off the outside cover of the magazine, and there you have it your very own recycled Christmas tree!

Melissa Covington crafting idea (actually i did these 45 years ago with reader digests.).

I use to make these back in the 70’S with Readers Digest. Would then use powder washing detergent mixed with a little water and apply over the tree. You could then sprinkle with glitter if you wanted. They were pretty.
