These actually look cool from a distance because you can’t tell that they are made from plastic packaging as they just have a beautiful metallic tone. From a distance they look like traditional earrings and it is only when you get up close that you realise that they are different. For some people it would be enough that they are different and thereby quirky. For others these earrings would be a statement piece. These can challenge our traditional notion of what is beauty. Beauty is found in what we create, how we interact with this earth and our fellow human beings. Whenever I walk past a jewelry store I see mass produced same old same old all sparkly and bright, trying to tempt us to part with our money. Yawnnnnnn.
