I use Machine shop drops or leftovers. The Suet feeder is made with the drops from golf divot tools. I weld them into three circles the center is expanded metal. The stem is a four-foot rebar, with leaves also made using the golf divot tools. The center is hinged on one side, so it is easy to load in the Suet. I make it, so the head comes off.
