Seeing a picture in a design magazine of man creating a lampshade with thin ropes of leather, my imagination was triggered. I love to use rubber, and with a pile of old inner cycle tubes in my workshop, I started right away.
It took some time to find out how to cut the rubber to get straight strips. I use old and new frames. Without a standard pattern, I wind the strips of rubber around the frame. Put a decorative light bulb in it, and it creates a graphic pattern on the wall.
