I made this unique planter from an old Apple Macintosh and some wooden tennis rackets. First, I gutted the computer and took the innards for e-waste recycling. After drilling all the holes for the rackets, I used spray paint to give the computer two-tone green stripes. Then I re-attached the rackets, and added one racket at the bottom. This ties the legs together and adds stability. It can also be used as a little shelf. The ventilation holes in the computer provide natural drainage, and the plants grow where the computer’s screen used to be.
More upcycled items can be found in my Etsy shop. Let me know what you think of this computer-turned-planter!
