These lamps are imaginative and cute but recycled?…I don’t think so. In fact, using new straws just generates the manufacturing of more straws. That would be a bad thing. The whole point of recycling, repurposing and upcycling is to creatively reuse materials that have already served their purpose and would otherwise be sent to the dump. The lamps are creative but definitely not hleping the environment.
You are right Ann, but these lamps gives a nice idea of what to do with all your junk straws and cups after a party, wash them and make a true re-used lamps with them ! ;)

I’m of two minds; I admire creativity and I respect the idealism behind recycling. On the otherhand, the Earth will eventually ReCycle everything in it’s own timescale, whether we’re here or not. ;-)

No it won’t if it could happen then oceans aren’t suffering from plastic pollution
How do you all make these plastic lamps and keep them from melting?
cool idea…however, all those supplies look new, not recycled
THIS IS THE COOLEST PROJECT EVER!!
Thanks for yours comments!!!

Plastic = pétrole= pollution de la terre et Des océan
I like it, but stupid people will buy these things new to make the items.
