Home Improvement ❯ Roof Shingled With Old Lp Records
Glassmeyer took 350 damaged vinyl records and, with a single nail and washer through the center of each, used them to shingle the porch on the north side of his house.
What happens when the hot sun comes out??
Way too low a slope for that design; I’ll bet it leaks @ least a little, right?
Should have had @ least a 3:12 for that.
Very immaginative, obviously your in a cold country,
if we did that here in Australia they would bend and buckle after a day in our heat. But a good use of relics from the past. Try putting an old can in the oven, sit a record on it (turn the heat on) and watch what a nice fruit bowl you can make when it melts down at the sides. Very inventive roof.
what a clever way to use something that would otherwise end up in the landfill. kudos!
What a great idea! Great practical recycling.
