Recycled Christmas Tree Installation by Michael Neff

Inspired by the stacks of discarded Christmas trees lining the streets, Brooklyn-based artist Michael Neff collected the tossed-aside evergreens to create a pine-scented installation under the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. Using thick twine, Neff strung about a dozen trees of varying sizes from a horizontal pipe under the underpass, bringing a pop of green to the drab urban area.
