A really nice idea : make cake stands out of candleholder and metal pans, easily found at the nearest dollar store !

If you could find these things at the thrift store or yard sales, this would not only be upcycling, it would be recycling, as well! ;)
A cute idea but it’s not recycling if you go out and buy things to make it. :)
Heavy cake on a tall narrow base. Looks nice but…
