Assemblage of Junk Art

I created a body of assemblage work during my art residency at the Metro Transfer Station (Portland, OR)…a local program that sends artists out to the “city dump” for several months to glean for discarded/trashed materials that can be gathered, brought home to our studios, and used for recycled art projects. These are a few samples of some of the work that I created during my six months, using the trash and garbage that came directly from our own city dump.
