License Plate Guitar Art

Peter Geiger uses recycled license plates to create 3-D guitar sculptures. Each guitar is the exact scale of classic guitar styles including Les Pauls, Stratocasters, Telecasters, and acoustics, and each guitar tells a story. Some convey the personality of their owners, including significant dates in their lives, nick names, sayings, photos and memories. Others pay tribute to music legends including Johnny Cash, the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and Buddy Holly. No two pieces are the same.
