I am a mask maker/puppeteer based in Brooklyn NYC. I am teaching theater in Thailand, Cambodia, and the Philippines this Spring, and learning more about artistic communities and traditional art forms there. I will be working with a variety of wonderful organizations, communities, and artists, such as Cambodia Living Arts, Let us Create, working on a rural permaculture farm in Thailand with 5 to 9 year olds developing a touring production for other rural schools and temple orphanages, an arts-based summer camp and relief school in the Philippines and more. I will be building masks and puppets with the kids using found, recyclable materials and devising work around their experiences and environmental stewardship!
