Oil Paintings on Stones by Yana Khachikyan

My name is Yana Khachikyan, I started painting on stones about a 1.5 years ago, and I’ve got more than a hundred stones painted since then. Depending on the complexity of the picture it may take starting from few hours up to several days to finish it. All of my paintings are covered with a varnish.

I ‘ve been painting stepping stones for my garden and mother’s garden for 10 years. I used outdoor acrylic paint but because I left them in the cold half of them chipped. It also depends on the stone I picked and I don’t know what stone they were. My biggest was a 25 pounder the paint has flaked in tiny places but it is 10 years old. I have painted smaller stones for the inside porch but your’s are masterpieces. Mine were pretty good, nothing to compare with yours. You could sell them they are so good. Bravo to you.
