Standing Lamp Planter … From Volkswagen Car Scraps

You’re just like my grandfather collecting these junks!” A colleague exclaimed as I salvaged parts from a Volkswagen destined for the scrap yard. Grandfather from Germany or not, I couldn’t let these potentially useful parts go, even if I had no idea of what use they could be. I thought of making a lamp out of them.

Technically for the best for recycling for the economy is to send it to the scrap yard so they can melt and reuse the material. However I am always inspired by several sculptors and artists that makes aesthetically appealing furniture with the things that they love, in this case automotive, so that you are living with your hobby and passion, not forgetting one can live with a unique one-of-a-kind yet functional piece of home decoration.
