Converting Broken Water Passes Into Toolboxes

So I had a couple of these cheap aluminum water passes that broke some time ago and eventually I decided to make something useful out of them. Basically I just cut out a sections of the desired length (I aimed for the length of a hacksaw blades to be contained) and added a wooden plugs on both ends: the rear one is secured in place by tapping a indentations through the aluminium corpus into wood (it seemed to be enough) and the front one is snuggly fitted removable one. Some finish or a paint and this is it.
