Old Copper Tray into Pendant Light

I made this unique pendant light from an old copper serving platter. By cutting a hole in the middle of the tray, I was able to combine it with an electrical cord to make a hanging light fixture. I chose a silver-tipped bulb, which directs all the light upward. The copper platter acts as a reflector, casting a warm, romantic glow. Since the silver bulb blocks downward light, it is very easy to the eyes. The 15-foot cord plugs into a standard (USA 3-prong) outlet. And the delicate floral pattern on the reflector adds one more layer of beauty and romance.
