Wine Barrel Chair

This beautiful chair was made from an old French wine barrel (but any old barrel will do) in about 30 minutes. It was very quick and simple to make, cost nothing and what I especially like about it (apart from its rustic charm and scorched look) is the fact that the two parts can easily be disconnected and laid flat (or up against a wall) for storage. It looks great in the sitting room, but would work equally well as garden furniture! (around a large half barrel perhaps). Beautiful, simple charm that would fit in most interiors (and could be painted in a variety of colours to accentuation the rivets/bolts. Comfortable too might I add…
